Feeling Sad? Read This!

Updated: Apr 6, 2019

Have you ever just woken up and felt like there was a cloud hanging over your head? Walked around for weeks feeling unnoticed, alone and in despair? Don't worry you are not alone.

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.

I remember when I experienced depression for the very first time, I couldn't articulate what it was I was going through. I would find myself sad and lonely, feeling like nobody cared about me. Its difficult to see when your glasses are rose-tinted, I couldn't see any of the support my friends and family were giving me because the devil had me believing that I wasn't worthy to be loved, that I wasn't good enough to be supported and taken care of! But Oh'boy was the devil WRONG!

My bible reminded me in 1 John 4:7-8 that indeed I was loved not only by my family but by our father:"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, "For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

You may be going through a season of depression or hardship, but today I am serving you a note of love, reminding you that whatsoever it is that you are going through you are not alone, no matter how alone you may feel; there is a love stronger and greater than you could ever imagine! allow that love, the love of God to engulf you and help you through this tough time!

No matter how difficult it may seem, or how impossible it may feel pray with me today, that God helps you through this season! (Isaiah 40:29)

Love you.
